SABRIC Mid-Level Graphic Designer (6 Month Contract)

The SABRIC Graphic designer will be on boarded for six months to be the go-to person for
all design-related projects, making sure that projects and designs are executed as seamlessly
as possible, are on brand, and of an excellent quality. They will collaborate with other
members of the organisation on various projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

This role will require that you:
• Successfully interpret requirements to conceptualise, design and implement digital
and print-ready visuals from a brief, including digital publications, emailers, invites,
internal communications, infographics, posters, brochures, email signatures, headers
& footers, presentation templates, office branding and signage, social media artwork,
newsletters as well as a consistent look and feel of a graphical user interface for
• Assist with website content and design.
• Attend meetings to brainstorm ideas and create briefs for design concepts.
• Conceptualise, generate, develop, and communicate new ideas.
• Come up with creative concepts and ideas and deliver impressive designs across all
channels of the business where innovative design is required.
• Attend meetings to brainstorm ideas and create briefs for design concepts.
• Provide advice and guidance on the aesthetic for campaigns and projects.
• Ensure a consistent look and feel for all design and content across all company
• Manage all interactive online content, including email templates, social media, and
promotional artwork.
• Adhere to branding standards and guidelines
• Ensure a consistent visual identity and look and feel across all deliverables to
maximise the customer experience and brand identity.
• Project manage initiatives that require this, and multi-task between projects while
maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders involved.
• Ensure that all punctuation and grammar is correct before sending for final approval.
• Maintain a shared SharePoint folder for all SABRIC and other designed collateral.
• Design and create HTML documents or collateral.

Desired Experience & Qualification/s


• Five years of professional working experience.
• An existing portfolio of design pieces across multiple mediums
• Understanding of visual elements and basic design skills (layout, type, and fonts)

• The ability to interpret requests and solicit additional input for briefs.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Good copywriting and editing skills.
• Basic user research and UX expertise.


• Diploma/degree in graphic design or related creative field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Skilled user of design software: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and
Premier Pro.
• Digital and print experience.
• Adobe Dreamweaver
• Adobe Illustrator/InDesign

Package & Remuneration
The remuneration package will be market-related and based on recognisable experience and
outcome of the performance evaluation test.
