SABRIC is a Non-Profit Company based in Midrand, established to combat crime in the Banking & Cash in Transit industries. 

The company facilitates interbank collaboration and interfaces with a range of external organisations and public and private partners, most notably to progress crime risk mitigation initiatives.

SABRIC has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Forensic Administrator within the Digital Forensics team.

 

Job Purpose

This position of the Digital Forensic Administrator will be responsible for the acquisition and analysis of electronic devices. Keep accurate records of electronic devices, that are being processed by the Digital Forensic Specialists on the system and provide support to the DAC and Commercial Crime Specialist

 

Qualifications

Matric

Digital Forensic Diploma or Certificate

Forensic Investigation Certificate

 

Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required

Essential:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • FTK, Encase, Exeba, Cellbrite and XRY

 

Key Responsibilities

Digital Forensic Administration

  • Ensure that electronic devices are captured on the SAS system
  • Acquisition and Analyse of devices and ensure data sets are handed over to the Commercial and Digital Administrator for uploading and testing
  • Updating of the Exhibit register “chain of custody documents”
  • Maintain, record the safe keeping of exhibits as required by law of evidence
  • Abide and update DAC policies & processes
  • Render operational support to the DAC, Commercial Crime and Operational Intelligence Specialist

 

Person Profile

Personal Situation

  • Access to a stable internet connection, preferably fibre with a bandwidth no less than 10Mpbs
  • Able to commute reliably to office when required
  • Must have a vehicle and driver’s license
  • Able to work extended hours when required

Remuneration and Package

Remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, in line with qualifications, experience and level of competence.
